I loved this book and I enjoyed it so much, It was so thrilling! And I think I finally fell in love with the Schuyler – Jack couple that I didn’t liked on the earlier books. I read this book a long time ago so I don’t really remember enough to give you guys a decent review but I do can tell you the kingdom of the dead was my favorite part. Este libro me encantó, lo disfrute mucho y me pareció super emocionante, creo que fue en este punto en donde me terminó de convencer la pareja Schuyler – Jack que al principio de la serie no me convencía. Leí este libro hace tiempo por lo que no recuerdo todo como para hacerles una reseña decente pero ame también la trama del mundo de los muertos, sin querer dar más spoilers a quienes no lo hayan leído. Si ya lo leyeron no duden en dejarme sus comentarios!

Color Club - Otherworldly

Hola! Hoy vengo con swatches y review de un esmalte de la marca Color Club que compré hace poco en una nueva tienda de cosméticos en Panamá llamada Beauty Box, luego les cuento más de la tienda pero la buena noticia es que tienen una gran variedad de esmaltes Color Club! Yo elegí tres y este es el primero. Otherworldly. 

Este esmalte es de la colección Starry Temptress de verano 2011. Es un esmalte azul brillante con brillos. Los brillos no resaltan mucho, de hecho se ven casi blancos pero me gustó porque le da un efecto más profundo e interesante al esmalte. 

La fórmula es muy buena, casi obtuve una cobertura completa con una sola capa, añadí otra para obtener un mejor acabado y terminé agregando una capa de brillo para proteger el color. Que opinan de este color? 

 Hi! Today i have swatches and review from a new Color Club nail polish i got recently on a new make up store here in Panamá. The store is Beauty Box and im so happy because they have this brand! I some nail polishes and this is the first I want to show you. 

Otherworldly from the Starry Temptress 2011 summer collection. It’s a bright blue glitter nail polish. It its not super glittery in fact the glitters look kind of white but really like the effect it makes it look more interesting I think. 

Formula was very good it is almost a one coater but I painted two to get a better finish and I also added a light coat of top coat. What do you think?

Lime Crime - Velvetines (Picture Heavy)

Hola!! Hoy vengo por fin con la reseña para los Velvetines de Lime Crime en los tonos Red Velvet y Utopia. El red velvet lo tengo hace un par de meses y se los mostré en el Video Haul de Noviembre en mi canal de youtube. El tono Utopia lo compré gracias a Glitter drops store en  Instagram. Solo tengo estos dos porque son los que me llamaron la atención hasta ahora. 

Los velvetines son labiales líquidos que secan matte en cuestión de segundos. El primero Red velvet, es un tono rojo vivo y muy bonito. En mi experiencia, la aplicación es un poco complicada con el aplicador que trae, probablemente porque es mi primera vez usando labiales líquidos y el secado es muy rápido, recomiendo ayudarse con una brocha para labios y delinear antes, para delimitar la zona con una ayuda visual y obtener un resultado más limpio. La fórmula es bastante líquida y el tiempo de duración es muy muy bueno también me encanta el empaque! Esta marca pone mucha dedicación a eso y a mi me encantan los empaques lindos :), duró intacto varias horas hasta que comí varias cosas pero aún así quedaba pigmento en mis labios y para removerlo al final tuve que utilizar un removedor de maquillaje con base de aceite y algodón. 

Utopia es un tono entre fucsia y morado que en realidad es el que más me gusta, la fórmula es un poco menos líquida que la del red velvet el tiempo de secado fue igual de rápido y sentí que me fue más fácil aplicarlo aunque igualmente me ayudé con una brocha para labios. La duración igual de buena y el acabado matte perfecto. Como siempre recuerden que los labiales matte tienden a resecar los labios por lo que recomiendo exfoliar y humectar luego de su uso. Cuéntenme cual es su Velvetine favorito? Que les parecen estos? 

Hi! Today im excited about this review from the Velvetines from Lime Crime, Red velvet and Utopia. I got Red velvet a couple of months ago and I told you about it on my November Haul video on youtube. I got Utopia this month thanks to Glitter Drops Store at Instagram. I picked only this two since they are the ones that I like more. Velvetines are liquid lipsticks that dry fast and with a matte finish. So, first im going to tell you about Red Velvet, which is a really red color, vibrant and beautiful, Since im no liquid lipstick expert the application was kind of tricky and I do recommend a lip liner and a lip brush to get a clean application. It dries very very fast too so you have to work quickly. Formula is very liquid and wearing time is amazing, it lasted for hours and I had to remove it with oil based make up remover and cotton. 

Utopia is a fucsia/purple color and is the one I like the most. I found the formula a little less liquid than Red Velvet’s and drying time was the same as fast. I felt the application a little less tricky tho. Wearing time is very good too and it dries a perfect matte. Package is soo cute, i love this brand really works on it and i can resist cute packaging! Remember matte lipsticks can be drying to your lips so always exfoliate and hydrate after every time you wear matte lipsticks! Tell me if you love Velvetines too and which one is your favorite?

A quien no le gusta escudriñar en el pasado de los personajes? A mi me encanta! Y aún más en el pasado de estos personajes con un ciclo de vida tan peculiar. Ya leyeron esta novela? Que les parece?

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream - Addis Ababa & Prague

Hola! hoy les tengo una reseña de dos de los Matte lip creams de Nyx Cosmetics. Yo solo tengo estos dos que fueron los que más me llamaron la atención cuando fui a la tienda. 

Addis Ababa y Prague, estos no son lip glosses ni son lipsticks líquidos, son tal como su nombre lo dice Lip creams. Son de textura sedosa y secan matte y todos los colores en la línea tienen nombres de ciudades. El empaque es super cute y el aplicador es como lo de los lip glosses normales. 

El primer, Addis Ababa es descrito en el site de Nyx Cosmetics  como un fuschia brillante. Estos lip creams no son super pigmentados, al menos en  mis labios no se ve tanto como un fuschia brillante, aunque si se ve rosa. 

El segundo es Pargue, descrito en el site de Nyx Cosmetics como un matte merlot. Nuevamente este color no luce como un merlot profundo, me parece que ni llega a verse merlot. No se si es debido a la pigmentación o al tono natural de mis labios. 
Aún asi ambos me gustan y se sienten muy bien en los labios, aunque secan matte no resecan los labios. Cuentenme si han probado este producto o si tienen algun otro color que me recomiendan! 

Hi! today i have a short review from two of the Matte lip creams from Nyx Cosmetics. I only got this two, Addis Ababa and Prague, this aren't lip glosses nor liquid lipsticks they are Lip creams. They have a silky texture and dry with a matte finish. All the colors in this collection are named after different cities and the package is so cute and the brush is the usual brush you find on lip glosses. 

The first one, Addis Ababa is described on Nyx Cosmetics Site as a bright fuschia. This wasn't super pigmented and it doesn't looks very bright on my lips it looks just pink.  The other is Prague, described on Nyx Cosmetics site as matte merlot. 
 Again this color doesn't looks merlot on me, i don't know if its because of the pigmentation or just the color of my natural lips.  

After all i like both of them, i would love if the looked like they should look. Also i have to say they are not drying even when they have matte finish. So tell me if you tried this before and if you have any other color to recommend!

Nyx Plump it up lip plumper - Liv

Hola! Hoy vengo con un video de primeras impresiones /demo y esta reseña escrita complementaria del Plump it up Lip Plumer de Nyx Cosmetics. El video lo filmé en los primeros días de enero y era primera vez que usaba el producto, ya para estas alturas he podido usar el producto varias veces, lo que me ha permitido conocerlo mejor para poder brindarles una reseña y contarles mi experiencia. 

Como digo en el video, ya concocía los Lip plumpers y he visto varios de diferentes marcas y diferentes precios. Este fue el que conseguí en Panamá a finales de diciembre. Ya había leído en internet que estos lip plumpers tienen un efecto de cosquilleo o picor en los labios ya que tienen componentes irritantes y por eso el tejido de los labios se hincha y se ve más grande. En el caso de este de Nyx Cosmetics, es un gloss transparente, en el tono Liv, vi en internet que hay varios tonos pero en la tienda donde lo compré solo vi este. 

El empaque me gusta mucho porque tiene un dibujo de jeringuilla y a mí me encantan esas cosas! Ahora, ya hablando del producto, como les decía es un gloss transparente, al aplicarlo en los labios se siente como si tuvieras pasta de dientes muy fuerte en los labios, no duele, no pica pero si es una sensación extraña. Yo pude ver resultados a partir de un minuto de haberlo aplicado y a mí me duró más o menos 40 minutos el efecto. 
No obtuve un efecto dramático de crecimiento en mis labios pero si noté mi labio superior ligeramente más relleno que el inferior, mis labios naturalmente no son delgados así que los probé en unos labios más delgados y el efecto fue más notorio. 

La fórmula si se siente un poco pegajosa y pesada en los labios pero pienso que no es nada que no pueda uno acostumbrarse. Yo lo he usado en combo con otros labiales y me encanta. Les dejo el video y fotos de antes y después. Cuéntenme si ya conocían este tipo de productos y si no, cuéntenme si les gustaría probarlo!

 Hi! So today i have a first impression/demo video on my youtube channel and this complimentary review from the Nyx Cosmetics plump it up lip plumber in Liv. I filmed the video on the first days of January and it was the first time ever I tried the product but now it’s the 20 and I’ve used it enough to give you guys a nice review of it. As I mentioned on the video, im sorry its only in Spanish, I heard about this lip plumpers products last year and I was curious, I’ve seen different brands and different prices but this is the one I got here in Panama on late December. 

They have different colors but they only have Liv at the store I got it. This lip plumpers products work by irritating your lip tissue or skin, causing them to look a little swollen and therefore more big o plump. This one from Nyx Cosmetics i loved the sryinge package and its like a clear lip gloss it doesn’t stings or hurts It feels like a very strong toothpaste it’s a weird sensation the first time you try it, I could see results after a minute or two from the application and it lasts approximately 40 minutes. 

I don’t really have thin lips so the effect wasn’t very dramatic on me but I did notice my upper lip plumper than normal. I Tried this on a friend with thinner lips and the effect was more noticeable on her. Formula feels kind of heavy and sticky on the lips and I’ve tried it layering over other lipsticks and I totally love it! So here is the demo and first impressions video and before and after pictures.  So tell me if you knew about these plumpers and if not, tell me if you would try them. 

Revlon Parfumerie - Autumn Spice

Hola! hoy vengo a mostrarles este esmalte Revlon de su línea de esmaltes con aroma Parfumerie. Estos están en Panamá desde el año pasado en diferentes colores y olores. Yo hasta hace poco adquirí este que se llama Atumn Spice . 

La botella me encanta, es de lo más cute! El color es un chocolate oscuro con pequeños detellos dorados espectaculares! lastimosamente no los pude capturar en las fotos. Obtuve cobertura total de mis uñas con dos capas. El aroma de este esmalte es como a canela y azucar morena, o eso percibí yo :D  El olor duró como un día o dos. 
Ya han probado esmaltes de esta línea? Cual otro me recomiendan?

Hi! today i have this Revlon nail polish from the Parfumerie line. This are scented nail polishes and the've been around since last year here in Panama in different colors and scents. 

I picked Autumn Spice which is a deep brown with golden shimmers. Sadly i couldn't get the shimmers on pictures but its gourgeous! I really like the bottle too, i think its so pretty. The scent i could smell reminds me of cinnamon and brown sugar and it lasted for like a day or two. 

Have you tried this nail polishes? is there any other you would recommend ?

Hola!! Esta es la primera reseña del año! Estaba en borrador desde noviembre 2014 pero al fin está lista, como siempre es corta y es más mi opinión que una reseña en todo el sentido de la palabra :)

Después de heredar el oscuro legado Van Alen, Schuyler huye a Florencia con su amor prohibido, Jack. Ahora ambos deben embarcarse en la misión que Schuyler está destinada a completar: Encontrar y proteger las cinco puertas restantes que protegen la tierra de Lucifer, señor de los sangre plateada.

Este libro me gustó mucho y la verdad me arrepentí de haber dejado esta saga abandoanda por tanto tiempo. Me gustó el cambio de ambiente, la trama entre Schuyler y Jack, que al principio recuerdo que no me gustaba pero al avanzar en la historia y al ver que lindo es su amor :D quedó encantándome. Una de las cosas que más disfruté fueron los flashbacks de la época del renacimiento que ayudan a entender muchas cosas y a develar secretos muy interesantes. Ya han leído este libro? Que opinan? 

Hi! so this is the first book review of 2015! this was on my drafts since 2014 but i finally managed to edit  and finish it! As always this is more my opinion and a short comment than really a review hope you like it :)

I Loved this book so much and im sorry it took me so long to get back to this series, I liked that they went to Europe, The story between Schuyler and Jack and I remember I wasn’t really into Shuyler being with Jack, but as the story goes on I saw that they love each other so very much :D and now im all for it! One of the things I liked more about this books are the flashbacks of the renaissance time it really helps you to understand and discover some really interesting secrets. Minimalista

Hola! hoy vengo con un manicure "minimalista" como lo dice el título de la entrada. Solamente pinté mis uñas con dos capas de pastel pink de Kleancolor que es un rosado cremoso y la uña de mi dedo anular la pinté con dos capas de Humo de Paola, que es un gris de acabado cremoso también. Luego en mi dedo medio pegué un sticker de un pequeño lazo negro en el medio de la uña, justo arriba de mi cutícula y para terminar puse una escarcha mediana en forma de hexágono dorado también en el medio de mi uña sobre mi cutícula en mi dedo anular. La escarcha es del esmalte I reached my gold de OPI, sellé con un poco de brillo y listo! Que les parece? 

Hi! today i have a minimalistic nail design to show you. I only painted my nails with this creamy pastel pink by Kleancolor and my ring finger nail with Paola - Humo which is also a creamy finish gray nail polish. Then i placed a little black bow sticker right on the center of my nail just above my cuticle and a gold hexe from OPI - I reached my gold on the same place but on my ring finger nail. I sealed with a little bit of topcoat and thats it! What do you think?

Last 2014 manicure!

Hola!! hoy vengo a mostrarles el último manicure de 2014, el que usé para año nuevo, sii se que ya han pasado 12 días desde que comenzó el año nuevo pero bueeeno xD. Opté por un manicure rápidisimo y sencillo, solo pinté las puntas con una capa de esmalte plateado y encima pinté dos capas de Chasing Rainbows de OPI. Cuando estuvo secó apliqué una capa de brillo para sellar. Que les parece?

Water marble cute fail

Hola! Hoy vengo a mostrarles este fallo de water marble o uñas marmoleadas que intenté hace pocos días. A mi me encantan los water marbles pero nunca  y en serio nunca me ha salido uno bien en su totalidad. Así que hoy les muestro este que aunque fue un fail al final si me gustó como quedó. Usé esmalte blanco Paola como base, Gothic Lolita de China Glaze y Pink Flamingos de OPI. Cuando estuvo totalmente seco, añadí una capa de I reached my gold de OPI para disimular los defectos :D  Cuentenme si ustedes han hecho water marble y qué hacen para que les quede bien?

Hi!  Today im here to show you my latest water marble fail. I've never managed to get a good water marble no matter what but i think this fail turn out kind of cute. I used white nail polish as base, then  i water marbled with Gothic Lolita by China Glaze and Pink Flamingos by OPI. When it was dry i added a coat of I reached my gold by OPI to cover the flaws :D Tell me please if you've been successful with water marbling and give me some tips please!

Hola!! Me ha costado agarrar el 2015, no lo puedo evitar pero siempre a fin de año me enredo y me estresa LOL. Hoy por fin les traigo el top ten de los posts de este 2014. Les agradezco a todos por su apoyo y por leerme durante este tiempo. Espero que tengan un super 2015! 

Este año incorporé reseñas y swatches de cosméticos al  blog y por lo que veo tuvieron buena acogida. No soy experta en maquillaje pero trato de darles mis puntos de vista como consumidora y me alegra mucho que les interese leer sobre otras cosas además de esmaltes y uñas.
