Revlon - Girly

Hola!! hoy tengo otro de los esmaltes de mi mamá (eran muchos! todavía quedan más por mostrar) Este es Girly de Revlon. Lo estuve viendo por todos lados en internet y me llamaba la atención porque me parecía que era otro intento de las marcas comerciales de hacer esmaltes que se vieran más como los indies que tantas bloggers hacen, justo como Its a trap - eze de China Glaze. 

Girly es  es un esmalte lleno de brillos azules, rosados y morados sobre una base rosa/lila lechosa lo que lo hace ver como un jelly sandwich cuando lo pones en tus uñas. La formula no es muy espesa así que apliqué tres capas hasta quedar satisfecha con el resultado. 

Hi! today i have another from my mom's (she won many nail polishes, there's a few more to show) This is Girly by Revlon. This nail polish was all over the nail blogs i follow, catching my eye cause it looked to me like another mainstream brand trying to look like the indie ones made by so many bloggers, just like Its a trap-  eze! from China Glaze.

Girly is a nail polish packed with pink, blue and purple glitters over a milky pink/lilac base, it looks like a jelly sandwich on your nails. The formula its not too thick so i applied three coats until i was happy with the look. 

Orly - Mysterious Curse

Hola!! les traigo otro esmalte de la colección de Dark Shadows de Orly que mi mamá ganó. Este es Mysterious Curse, un azul/morado con brillos duotono con acabado metálico. Estos si son los colores a los que estoy acostumbrada!! navegando en internet encontré que es un doble de otro esmalte de Orly llamado Royal velvet, pero como yo no lo tengo, no es importante :)  En las fotos pueden ver dos capas de mysterious curse, con brillo.

Hi! today i have another Dark shadows nail polish! part of my mom's prize. This is Mysterious Curse, a blue/purple duochrome with shimmers and metallic finish. This are the kind of colors im used to! looking around the internet i found some people say this is a dupe from Orly's Royal velvet. It doesen't matter to me cause i dont have that one! xD On pictures i was wearing two coats of Mysterious curse and topcoat.

Buried Alive - Orly

Hello! today i have to show you this nail polish, im so happy i got to try! My mom won an amazing giveaway hosted by Nail Therapy she won many amazing nail polishes i will be posting here on the following days.  This is two coats of  Buried Alive by Orly (The first Orly i ever tried)  from the Dark shadows collection. Im a huge Tim Burton and Johnny Deep fan yes!! thats why i was so happy to find this polish.
The color its not the typical color i wear, its a bronze/brown with golden shimmers but i loved it and i think it looked pretty good. 

Hola, hoy tengo un esmalte para enseñarles que estoy muy feliz que pude probar. Mi mamá ganó un giveaway del blog Nail Therapy, ganó un montón de esmaltes super hermosos y los estaré mostrando aquí en los siguientes días. Estas son dos capas de Buried Alive de Orly (El primer Orly que he usado) de la colección de Dark Shadows, soy fan de Tim Burton y Johnny Depp si! es por eso que me emocioné al ver este esmalte. 

El color no es de los que usualmente uso, es un chocolate/bronze con brillos dorados pero me gustó y creo que se me veía bastante bien.

Too late?

Hi!! today i have to show you the manicure i actually wore on St. Valentine's day.. Hence the name of this post. Is it too late? Anyways here are the pictures. 

I Painted my nails with two coats of Zoya - Blaze and stamped some designs from the bundle monster image bm02 plate with white nail polish on my ring finger. I stamped two different designs on each hand. 
 My swatch hand is usually the right one, but i wanted to show both, and i found difficult to hold the bottle with my left hand! awkward!

Hola! hoy les quiero mostrar el manicure que tuve el mismo día de San Valentín. Por eso el nombre de este post: Es muy tarde? Como sea. aquí les dejo alguna fotos. 
Pinté mis uñas con dos capas de Blaze de Zoya y luego estampé dos diseños del image plate de bundle monster bm02 con esmalte blanco en mi dedo anular. 

Puse dos diseños diferentes en cada dedo. Usualmente la mano que les muestro es mi mano derecha pero como quería mostrar los dos diseños tomé fotos de mi mano izquierda también, me resultó difícil sostener la botella con mi mano izquierda! extraño no? 

More Summer!

Hello! today i have another summer - inspired manicure. This summer its being a little hard with my skin and my body, i want it to be over now! but oh well..  I used citric and bright colors for this manicure. 

Hola! hoy tengo otro manicure inspirado en el verano. Este verano está siendo un poco duro con mi piel y mi cuerpo, ya quiero que se acabe, pero ni modo. Para este manicure usé colores cítricos y brillantes.

Sinful colors Happy ending (middle and ring finger/dedo anular y medio)
Sinful colors Daredevil (Thumb, index and pinky finger/ pulgar, índice y meñique)
Dotting tool / Puntero
Topcoat / brillo

With my dotting tool i painted a bullseye on the side of the nails alternating both colors. 

Con el puntero pinté unos puntos dentro de otros, en los lados dela uña, intercalando ambos colores

Purple Cheetah print

Hola!! hoy tengo un manicure que he usado antes, en diferentes colores, pero es que simplemente me encanta!! Cheetah print con uñas acento. 

Pinté mis uñas del dedo pulgar, medio y anular con dos capas de Milani 3D - 510  y las del dedo índice y meñique con dos capas de Gothic Lolita de China Glaze, luego en  las que pinté con Milani, estampé el diseño de cheetah de Konad image plate m 57 con esmalte negro Darosa. 

Esperé que estuviera seco y con mi puntero, hice pequeños puntitos aleatorios en algunos estampados del cheetah. 


Hi! today i have a manicure i've used mani times before with different colors, but i just love it! Cheetah print accent nails. I painted my thumb, middle finger and ring finger nails with two coats of Milani 3D - 510, then the index and pinky finger nails with two coats of China glaze - Gothic Lolita. 

Then i stamped the cheetah print design from the konad image plate m57 on the nails i paninted with the Milani nail polish with Darosa black nail polish.

I waited for it to be completely dry and with my dotting tool i painted little random dots on the cheetah print.

Sephora by OPI - Only gold for me

Hi!!! today i have a special nail polish, its special because i won it on a giveaway! sponsored by Chameleon Stampede blog Im vey happy about it cause its my first Sephora by OPI nail polish. 

This one is part of the jewerly topcoats collection and its a golden glitter over a clear base with little glitters and bigger hexes. I Layered one coat over two coats of Paola - Coral. 


Hola! hoy tengo un esmalte especial. Es especial porque lo gané en un giveaway realizado en el blog Chameleon Stampede. Me alegra mucho haber ganado porque este es mi primer esmalte Sephora de  OPI. 

Es parte de la colección jewerly topcoats y es un escharchado dorado sobre una base transparente, con pequeños brillos dorados y hexágonos un poco más grandes. Apliqué una capa sobre dos capas de Paola - Coral.

Valentine's day 2013

Hi!!! today i have my St. Valentine's day manicure! i don't really make a big deal  about this date, usually i just have  a nice dinner with my boyfriend or maybe just spend the evening together. But i wanted to do some cute manicures so here it is. I used two coats of Paola - Coral as base color and then i sponged Kleancolor's pearl pink to make a gradient effect. 

On my thumb i added two fimo pieces, a flower and a heart, i didn't stick them very well as you can see on the pictures.

Hola! hoy tengo un manicure de Día de San Valentín. Realmente no es una fecha muy importante para mí. Mi novio y yo solo cenamos o pasamos la tarde juntos. Pero quería hacer algunos manicures lindos para la ocasión! Así que aquí lo tienen. Usé dos capas de Coral de Paola como color de base y encima con una esponja apliqué Pearl Pink de Kleancolor para hacer un efecto degradado. 

 En mi dedo pulgar puse dos formas de fimo, una flor y un corazón. No me quedaron exactamente como las quería, pueden verlo en las fotos. 

Espero que pasen un lindo día!

Green on green

Hello!  Today i have a very glittery manicure, as im trying to use more frequently my neon colors (sometimes i find myself stuck on purple and dark colors) I found this two on my stash, and i thought a combo would look good. I painted my nails with two coats of Shaki - Esmeralda and then i layered one coat of Kleancolor -Holo green, the very first holo i had! It sparkled so much i didn't want to take it off. What do you think?

Hola! hoy tengo un manicure muy brillante. Como estoy tratando de usar un poco más mis colores vivos y neones (a veces me encuentro atrapada en morados y colores oscuros) encontré estos dos en mi estante y pensé que un combo se vería bien. Pinté mis uñas con dos capas de Esmeralda de Shaki y luego apliqué encima una capa de Holo green de Kleancolor, el primer holo que tuve!! Este manicure brillaba  tanto que no quería quitarmelo. Que opinan?

Summer dots

Hola!! hoy tengo un manicure inspirado en uno que hizo María Emma en su blog. Pinté mis uña con dos capas de Paola - Mamey que es un color piel, luego con un puntero hice puntitos de varios colores y tamaños. Como es verano por acá, usé varios colores vivos y en mi dedo anular hice un acento con esmalte escarchado morado y azul.

Hi! today i have a manicure inspired by one i liked on María Emma 's blog. I painted my nails with two coats of Paola - Mamey which is a nude color. Then i painted, different colors and different sizes dots. Since its summer here, i try to use neon and bright colors. Then i added an accent nail on my ring finger using blue and purple glitter nail polish.

Nabi - Purple Jumbo Glitter

Hola!! hoy tengo otro hermoso glitter. Purple Jumbo Glitter de Nabi, estoy teniendo muchas dificultadess para capturar los efectos de los esmaltes de este tipo, estoy por creer que no se como hacerlo o que mi cámara no es la mejor. Estas fotos tuve que tomarlas afuera, con la luz del mediodía directa. Es una capa de Nabi purple jumbo glitter sobre una de Paola Onyx. Se veian hermosas por cierto.

Hi! today i have another beautiful glitter. Purple Jumbo glitter by Nabi. Im having a really difficult time trying to capture the effects of this nail polishes, i think either i dont have talent or my camera doesen't works well. To take this pictures i had to go outside with 11:00am direct sunlight. This is one coat of Nabi purple jumbo glitter over one coat of Onyx by Paola.  It looked beautiful tho.

More Kleancolor Chunky Holo Fucsia

Hi! as i told you on yesterday's post it was difficult to capture the holographic effect of Kleancolor chunky holo fucsia on pictures, so i tried it over a different color, this time a lighter color. Hortensia by Vogue (2 coats). I think you can see the holo a little more on this pictures.

Hola! como les conté en el post de ayer, fue difícil capturar el efecto holográfico de Chunky holo fucsia de Kleancolor en fotos, así que probé usandolo sobre un color diferente, más claro, Hortensia de Vogue (2 capas). Pienso que se ve un poquito más el holográfico en estas fotos.

Hola!!! hoy les tengo Chunky holo fucsia de Kleancolor, fue especialmente difícil tomar fotos y lograr que se vieran los colores y el brillo, terminé frustrada porque en persona se veía increible!! igual aquí estan las fotos. Una capa de Chunky Holo Fucsia sobre una capa de Pink lady también de Kleancolor.

Hi! today i have Chunky Holo Fucsia by Kleancolor. It was specially difficult to capture the colors and the holo thing on pictures i was so frustrated, cause in person it looked amazing! Anyways here are some pics, One coat of Funky holo fucsia over one coat of Pink Lady also by Kleancolor.

Bronze Glitter

Hi! this nail polish was on my stash for a couple of months, untried. Its a bronze glitter over a clear base. The glitters are very tiny i think. I layered it over two coats of OPI's wooden like shoe to know.

Hola! este esmalte estuvo en mi estante por un par de meses sin usar. Es un  escarchado bronce, sobre una base transparente. Pienso que los brillos son bastante pequeños. Lo apliqué sobre dos capas de Wooden like shoe to know de OPI
