This book got a lot of mixed reviews, some people liked it, some other people dont. Im not a big book critic but i can tell you this is a great book. Once again we can enjoy the amazing narrative talen of J.K Rowling. This time in a very different story but, with very realistic characters with secrets any of us can have. I recommend to read this book with an open mind, and predjudice free. Don't read it justbecause its a J.K Rowling book and dont expect nothing just enjoy!

Tras la conmoción causada por la súbita muerte de Barry Fairbrother, se desencadena una auténtica batalla en sordina por ocupar la vacante dejada por Barry en el concejo parroquial, donde se dirime el destino de una urbanización de dudosa legalidad.

Y cuando la tensión hace aflorar una serie de conflictos latentes que involucran a todo el pueblo —hijos contra padres, pobres contra ricos, mujeres contra maridos, alumnos contra maestros—, la pasión, la hipocresía y, especialmente, los secretos que suelen anidar en una comunidad pequeña desempeñarán un papel decisivo en el futuro de Pagford.

Esta novela ha recibido críticas muy mezcladas. Algunos la aman otros dicen que es mediocre. Yo no soy una gran reseñadora, solo les puedo decir que pienso que es una novela brillante. Una vez más podemos disfrutar del inigualable talento de J.K Rowling para narrarnos y envolvernos en sus historias. Esta vez, una muy diferente de las que nos ha brindado antes. Con personajes que se hacen reales y secretos que cualquiera de nosotros pudiera tener.  Recomiendo leer este libro con mente abierta y sobretodo libre de prejuicios, no lo lean solo porque la autora es J.K Rowling y no esperen nada, solo disfruten.
